About Ron Sprokholt

Dr Ron Sprokholt is educated in biochemistry, chemical engineering and environmental chemistry at the University of Amsterdam (1980) and he successfully graded a post-academic management training at TU Delft (1988). Between 1968 and 1988, Ron worked in jobs varying from technician to clinical chemist. In 1988 he co-founded Euro-Trol BV, a company manufacturing quality control materials in clinical chemistry, where he acted as CEO. In 1997

he started his consulting work on innovative chemical products and process designs and wrote / presented a variety of training programs. For many years Ron has been consulting on the implementation of GMP and ISO management systems (9001 – Quality, 14001 – Environment, etc.). Ron is also a freelance auditor of these management systems. From 1999 to 2007 Ron acted as a member of the board of the KNCV Consultancy Group and the KNCV Group of Chartered Consultants. Ron frequently organized (educational) business events for consultants.

Ron Sprokholt founded Chemie Consultancy Sprokholt in 1997. He solves problems related to fine chemical products and production processes. He supports companies solving business issues related to REACH and GHS-EU / CLP legislation. He prepares and implements management systems (ISO assessments) focused on creating value for the business and carries out management system audits. Ron provides these services either as SME or as sub-contractor on behalf of (accredited) organizations.

Ron is contracted as freelance senior consultant for SynChem Plus, the service centre of VNCI. Ron has helped members of VNCI / VHCP with business issues related to REACH, pre-registration and SIEF / Consortium communications.
