This information needs to travel up and down entire supply chains, starting at the producer/importer of a substance and traveling all the way to end-users buying products containing that substance. And all this communication needs to take place quickly so that the producers/importers can include new information in their safety assessments and downstream users have time to adapt their processes when needed.
