Access Options
There are two options to access the portal and start collaborating and communicating online:
- Member Access. This is for companies that have paid for unlimited access to chemSIX. Members have access to all the functionality of the portal: they can set-up online SIEF Management modules and Product Catalogs for downstream communication. In addition, members have full access to the Expert Network for support implementing REACH.
- Guest Access. This is for companies that have been provided free limited access to chemSIX by a Sponsoring Company. The sponsoring company can be a Lead Registrant who has set-up an online SIEF Management module and now wants to provide easy access to SIEF participants. The sponsoring company can also be a Supplier offering its customers free access to its online Product Catalog. In both cases the sponsoring company pays for access.
Members pay for unlimited access. They can be invited freely into any number of online SIEFs or online Product Catalogs. In addition, when a Member sets-up an online Product Catalog, he can give any number of chemSIX members free access. In addition, Members have full access to the Expert Network for obtaining support when implementing REACH.
Guest Access can be bought in bulk by a sponsoring company.
Guest Access is always limited to the information from the sponsoring company (i.e. to one SIEF or one online Product Catalog). If a company with Guest Access to one SIEF needs to participate in multiple other SIEFs, each of the other SIEFs will have to pay for Guest Access of this company to their SIEF.
Optional: online Product Catalog for Downstream Communication
A private/secure online Product Catalog can be set-up by a chemSIX member to keep its customers updated about the impact of REACH on each individual product. The cost of an online Product Catalog is based on the number of products in the catalog:
- Fixed annual fee for setting-up & maintaining a Product Catalog.
- Annual fee per product in the Product Catalog.
- FREE access for all customers that are chemSIX Members themselves. Guest Access can be bought in bulk for customers that are not chemSIX members.
